SBA Provides Faith-Based Organization PPP/EIDL Guidance

The Small Business Administration has now released a  frequently asked questions document that more fully addresses the concerns many churches and faith-based organizations have raised regarding eligibility for and the impact of receipt of a Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Loan or Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) on religious liberties.

The questions and answers are very pointed and provide answers that should provide comfort and assurance to churches and faith-based organizations.

In addition, this publication by Republican staff of the House Ways and Means Committee has some guidance for churches applying for a PPP loan.
