Webcast for Nonprofits: 2017 Nonprofit Tax Year-End Review

As 2017 comes to a close, we see that it has been an interesting year for exempt organization tax issues. In addition to several rulings and announcements, tax reform has taken center stage. The IRS is taking a closer look at unrelated business income tax (UBIT) and international activities. Then there’s the “data-driven decision making” regime at the IRS, numerous pronouncements, tax court cases, new forms, and changes to form instructions that significantly change the way we need to report tax data. In this session, we will summarize the most important of these many changes and look toward 2018.
